As you all know SAP developments have their own transportation strategies. Although it is open source, sharing your source code and other ABAP objects is not easy. Last few years this obstacle has been overcome by SAP contributers by packaging ABAP objects into XML files . They developed a plugin which can export and import a special formats called “Nugget” and “Slinkee” under GNU licensing .

Below you can find the source code of this plugin. Its usage is very easy. Now i will tell how to use this handy plugin.

First create a new nugget with any name you want from source SAP system.
create_new_nugget
Then add your program/package or any particular object in your source SAP system.
add_objects_to_nugget
Import your nugget file into your target SAP system.

import_nugget
