According to your company’s needs you can put some controls on transportation of requests. For example you may have quality, pre-production and production systems. handle very long text in ABAP program

You may have faced with cases where you need to send mail with very long text content or write a long information text to screen or use a long text template in your smartform etc. If you write all texts to string , maintenance of text field will be very hard. Moreover there can be dynamic fields in the text template so it will require an extra effort to set these dynamic values.
