SAP prevents users to open a limited number of sessions at the same time and gives ‘The maximum number of external sessions has been reached’ warning. Besides if someone opens a session and tries to logon again, it gives ‘Note that multiple logons to the production system using the same user ID are not part of the SAP licence agreement’ warning.
These two messages can be overcome by a tricky method. First Create an RFC method type 3-ABAP Connection for your target SAP system. After checking RFC by ‘Connection Test’, logon your target SAP system by ‘Remote Logon’ button.
You will see that there will be no message although you expect both for multiple logon message for sessions and multiple logon message for the same logon user.
